We can safely say that the concept of “research & development” is the throbbing heart of plotonLife activity and constitutes its main factor in market positioning. plotonLife was in fact created by researchers and has grown thanks to continual investments to promote innovation: more than 15% of its annual turnover is allocated to R&D.

Professor Marcello Baldacchini the promoter and co-ordinator of all the research work plays a central role thanks to his Lab&Inventions business. We should not in fact forget that plotonLife enjoys this enviable privilege: direct interface with a highly professional concern developing research in a highly professional way. At Lab&Inventions design is the main occupation but there are also four certified production units. Each of these operates in highly specialised technology fields from optometry to electronics. Lab&Inventions is also concerned with validating each single piece of equipment before being consigned for final testing in the company. Lab&Inventions works in conformity with all the national and international standards: ISO, IEC, CEN, CENELEC, UNI, CEI. plotonLife also directly participates in the INNTEC.
